A wonderful Monday to you, I hope that it is being delightful for you. It has been a horrid hot day here today but you just know that the thunderstorm will roll on in tonight. I have decided to do my housework tonight and finish my room whilst listening to the wonderful rain and majestic thunder.
I started on a teenagers novel today about a young girl who does not fit in...not sure where I will go with it but I was looking through some of my old paperwork last night and this was a sample I drafted for my students, so I am going to play with it to see where it will go, if anywhere. At least it gets me something to do on these really hot days...or at least makes a good sounding excuse!
I have been looking for a home business I could do, two reasons - a) I had a stroke not long back so I am still in the recovery period and b) As a result of the stroke I now have fits which means I can no longer teach...and as someone who hates not having something to do I need to find work, which means home is it.
I am going to write my novel (started year nine) about women from the ancient world that history ignores but I love kids books so I think I will have a go at that as well. I am going to try abstract artwork, I have got some supplies to have a go at that. The first one I am going to do is for my baby boy (24) and it is of Darth Vader's head (my son was a huge fan), my doctor has said it will work wonders to help with rebuilding the muscle usage. I will post it here once I have finished it so you can have a look.
